Dairy farm audits

Safe Food Australia conducts regulatory audits for dairy farms for both standalone farms and those supplying milk to major processors in NSW.

Once licensed with the Regulatory body, dairy farms require regular audits to demonstrate compliance with the Legislation and Food Standards.

Operators need to meet the requirements set out in: ·

Food Act 2003 (NSW) ·

Food Regulation 2015 (NSW), including relevant parts of the Dairy Food Safety Scheme ·

Food Standards Code including:

  • 3.2.3 Food Premises and Equipment
  • 3.2.2 Food Safety Practices and general requirements
  • 4.2.4 Primary Production and Processing Standard Dairy
