Aged Care Food Safety Audits

In order to protect vulnerable people within our communities such as older persons, young children and people who have weakened immune systems due to illness, it is a requirements that these businesses implement a documented and audited food safety program to meet the regulatory requirements of their state or territory.

Safe Food Australia specialises in audits where food is served to vulnerable persons. Our auditors have many years’ experience with aged care homes, hospitals and child care centres including developing food safety programs, conducting food safety training and conducting both internal and regulatory food safety audits (third-party audits).

Businesses that provide food service to vulnerable persons include;

  • Aged Care Facilities
  • Hospitals
  • Delivered meal organisations such as Meals on Wheels
  • Childcare centres (QLD, VIC)
