In order to protect vulnerable people within our communities such as older persons, young children and people who have weakened immune systems due to illness, it is a requirement that these businesses implement a documented and audited food safety program to meet the regulatory requirements in their state or territory.
Safe Food Australia has accredited consultants and auditors with many years’ experience with these businesses including creating food safety programs, conducting food safety training and conducting both internal and regulatory food safety audits.
We ensure that our team members conduct ongoing training and development including allergen training, attending auditor workshops with Government agencies and upgrading certification such as Certificate IV in training and assessment. This allows us to give you up-to-date information to achieve your goals.
Businesses that provide food service to vulnerable persons include;
- Aged Care Facilities
- Delivered meal organisations such as Meals on Wheels
- Childcare centres (QLD, VIC)
Our auditors are registered in NSW, VIC & QLD through the relevant Government agencies and certified in the competency-based National Food Safety Auditor Program, Level 4 (NFSA-4) Auditor (high risk) through Exemplar Global.
